Survival crafting games are typically enhanced when you have someone by your side to fight enemies or carry your stuff. With Grounded spreading to other platforms like the fungus it showcases, players must wonder if the game has split-screen co-op or crossplay. There's good news and bad news. The good news is that, yes, Grounded does support crossplay for all platforms. But sadly, the bad news is that the game is remaining online and there doesn't seem to be any indicator that will change soon. You can only play the game co-op online for the time being. It doesn't appear that developer Obsidian Games is planning on changing this in the near or distant future. Split-screen play requires a platform to render the game twice. And since Grounded is a fairly resource-heavy game, I'm not surprised that it doesn't have split-screen on offer.
